Meldyn was awesome! When I went into labor she immediately reached out to me and my midwives to make sure all of us were communicating together. She helped me through intense contractions, climbed in the back of our car with me, and continued to squeeze my back and help me power through. As I went through labor she listened to what I needed and met me there! Honestly, she was like having the most helpful and supportive aunt/mom that you can imagine at your labor. If you are thinking about having a doula at your birth, I would strongly suggest you get to know Meldyn! She is such a peaceful and calming person, but at the same time soooo strong! Exactly the kind of doula you want helping you through labor!! In my and my husband’s mind, she is Galadriel from Lord of the Rings: beautiful, strong, powerful, peaceful, and there to help in your hour of need.

My words really can’t describe how much Meldyn helped me get through this birth.
This birth was such a more intense experience then my first and without Meldyn, her energy work, and everything she did to help remind myself to go deeper and stay strong though those vulnerable moments was everything that helped get my little man earthside. I feel my body knew that we had to get my baby born fast and furious and without her that may not have happened. So I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Meldyn is so amazing and I can’t recommend her enough! She gave me the extra confidence I needed going into my twin birth. Although having twins seems to complicate some aspects of birth within a hospital environment, Meldyn was able to make me feel confident in the decisions I was making and was there to support me through those decisions. Her calm presence and knowledge helped me feel so much more comfortable in the hospital environment. Even though my birth ended with me getting an epidural (my own choice due to the circumstances in the hospital🙃) I will never regret having a doula and will always recommend one, especially Meldyn

Meldyn was a really huge emotional and informative support for my entire pregnancy. This was my first. She always knew the right thing to say to help my worries and could give me answers with any questions. During labor, even when things didn't go ideally, she made sure to show up for us and provide the insight we needed. She also filled in all the gaps of what we forgot or when we needed that extra person to take care of me during labor. ❤️ She was not afraid to be hands on support as well. Afterwards, she made sure to check on me and come make sure we had everything we needed. We will forever be grateful for her. ❤️
